SAM. We do not utilize personal information for any purposes other than those outlined on the site. Further, the data provided are never sold to third parties. Information furnished by financial institution members is not accessible by other (financial institution) members, or by real estate professionals who register with
SAM for inclusion on the REO Professional Database. Other than outreach efforts initiated by members with Database registrants, all contacts deriving from your participation with
SAM will be made through
SAM. Real estate experts who register on
SAM's Database do so for the purpose of generating business from financial institutions on their property transactions. Database information is made accessible to member financial institutions. Registered REO professionals can expect to be contacted directly by financial institutions for the services identified in their profiles.
Do We Collect Personally Identifiable Information About You?
We only collect personally identifiable information about you when you specifically and knowingly provide such information voluntarily. For example, we may gather personally identifiable information about you (such as name, street address, telephone numbers, e-mail address, etc.) during the following interactions:
- During the SAM initial registration process
- During the SAM registration renewal process
- When you register for a conference
- When you purchase an item from SAM, either in person, by facsimile or other paper-based order, or on our web sites
- When you participate in a SAM survey
- In connection with other content submissions and suggestions
- When you submit business information or other related information to us
How Is Personally Identifiable Information Used?
We primarily use personally identifiable information to provide a wide array of products and services to you, or to enhance your experience with
SAM.
We may employ independent contractors, vendors and suppliers to provide specific services and products related to
SAM, such as providing credit card processing and fraud screening, order fulfillment and shipment, mailing of
SAM publications and other materials, and developing applications for our sites. Access to your personally identifiable information by these contractors is limited to the information reasonably necessary in order for the contractors to perform their limited function for us. This policy was revised July 2010. We reserve the right to change the policy at any time. Changes in the Privacy Policy will be made known to
SAM's customers, contractors, and all interested parties by e-mail and postings on our web sites. Your continued use of
SAM's services, including but not limited to the web sites, following the posting of changes to this policy will indicate your acceptance of those Privacy Policy changes.
